Health Care Services

Acupuncture

Acupuncture uses very thin, sterile needles to stimulate various points on the body. Those points lie on major energy channels called meridians, which cross the entire body and connect to the internal organs as well.

Cupping

Cupping is very effective in treating patients with digestive problems, menstrual problems, respiratory problems like coughing or wheezing, as well as with many other aches and pains.

Herbal Medicine

Chinese Herbal Medicine formulas can come in many forms, including raw or dried herbs, pills, tablets, teas, powders and liquid decoctions which may be used internally or used externally.

Moxibustion

Moxibustion uses a natural herb called moxa, also known as mugwort (Artemesia Vulgaris), which practitioners burn either indirectly or directly on a patient’s skin to stimulate the acupuncture meridians beneath.

Tui Na

Tui Na is a much more therapeutic technique than a standard massage. Practitioners can brush, knead, roll or press areas between joints to open the body’s Qi and get the energy moving in both the meridians and the muscles.

Fertility Acupuncture

At Midtown AcuCare, we are an acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine practice devoted to overall health with a specialty in fertility and pregnancy.
